Inspiring Houses: Killer Prefab.

My favorite prefab home design is the bachkit.

This ingenious design packs 3 bedrooms and a stunning indoor/outdoor living space into a very compact footprint.

I love the simplicty of it; the groovy zen thing that's going on. I love how the whole thing folds open and becomes an outdoor pavilion.

This would be the perfect weekend home, in my opinion. I want one. Somewhere other than the Texas heat and humidity.

Alas, the firm is based in New Zealand and the home isn't available in the states.

A boy can dream though, can't he?
