The Short List.

I've only seen one of Tom Hurt's houses, and I happened to be driving by. Yet he remains on the short list of architects because...well...just because.

I've found that when I'm looking at work online or through other research, the reaction is usually visceral and slightly unexplainable. I figure that's normal.

I like his stuff. So there.

This staircase design is interesting:

I like the graphic punch.

Yet I've met no one familiar with his work.
