Shopping: Beautiful Woods.

I'm not a huge wood fan. I only like it when used in a spare way, whether in the home, or on it. I think concrete is much more beautiful. But that's another post.

There are instances where it works.

For example, these egg-shaped platters from Sprout Home are quite nice:

And Russel Wright designed a very short-lived wood series called Oceana, consisting mostly of serving pieces and home accessories, such as this organically shaped box that I'd love to have for my very own:

Bamboo floors are cool, too. I also greatly appreciate that they are a sustainable product.

It would be cool to have a bamboo forest.
